2010 Chardonnay

Winemaking Notes

The grapes used to produce our 2010 Vigilance Chardonnay were picked from different blocks from our Vineyards in Lake County. Giving us several flavor and texture components to work with, the fruit was picked at the peak of ripeness. The fruit was 70% barrel fermented and the lees was stirred weekly to enhance the richness and creamy mouth feel. A portion was also put through Malo-lactic fermentation to add buttery layers and complexity.
