Winemaking Notes

The grapes used to produce our 2009 Vigilance Petite Sirah were picked from the Red Hills area of Lake County. This area produces well structured wines with rich, hearty character; the fruit was picked at the peak of ripeness, aged in French oak for 18 months.

Color: Deep Purple
Aroma: Blue Berry, Black Berry, Vanilla oak
Flavor: Blackberry, Spice, Rich Vanilla
Texture: Rich, Full bodied and firm with a nice juicy finish
